Shigeo Harashima
With the founding philosophy of “providing services that delight as many clients as possible,” Harashima founded Harashima Accounting Firm in 2006. In Japan, by maintaining a broad service scope and delivering finely tuned, client-focused support, he has been providing accounting, tax, and financial consulting to an extensive client base, from sole proprietors through to listed companies.
In the period of profound change around 2010, driven by a surge in clients expanding abroad, he developed a clear vision that tax accountants should pursue opportunities worldwide. To realize this vision, he founded J Glocal Accounting Co., Ltd. In 2013. Believing that successful international business requires integrated support from both Japan and the local country, he offers integrated services from Japan and Thailand, helping Japanese corporate groups, including their overseas subsidiaries, achieve overall optimization.
Positioning July 2023 as the start of the firm’s “third founding phase,” he led the organizational restructuring into JGA Tax Corporation. His areas of expertise include management consulting, inbound support, international tax consulting, IPO support, and more.

Yohei Katase
As the tax industry has evolved, Katase has come to view international business as the final frontier and has devoted much of his career to cross-border matters since his time at a tax corporation.
With the view that international business has two pillars – support from Japan and support within the local country – and that meaningful best-practice advice on local operations requires being stationed locally, he relocated to Mexico in 2013 to assist in founding a local accounting consulting firm.
After relocating to Mexico, he primarily supported Japanese companies entering the Mexican market and provided management consulting to local Japanese subsidiaries, including business planning, annual budgeting, internal control and fraud investigations, various due diligences, and preparation of consolidation reporting packages.
In 2016, he moved to Thailand and founded Bridge Note (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (now BM Accounting Co., Ltd.), followed by organizing the transfer pricing division of PT. Bridge Note Indonesia in Indonesia.
In 2018, as a founding member of the Thailand Transfer Pricing Tax Council, he worked to raise the overall service level of transfer pricing in Thailand. His areas of expertise include management consulting, inbound support, international tax consulting, and internal digital transformation (DX), among others.
